I had your exact same reaction when I moved to the US. I used to like cinnamon back in Europe but I started rejecting it here, where I still believe it’s over-used and over-consumed. I came to terms with it when I started to bake everything from scratch and hence to decide how much of it to use. These raisin bread looks delicious and I’m sure I would love it with cinnamon too

Whatever you call this, it’s beautiful! Cinnamon is used in a lot of desserts here in the US, but I’m a big cinnamon fan. Bring it on!

Je ne pourrais pas vivre sans cannelle. Que j’aime cette épice. Même dans la sauce à spaghetti. Quel beau pain qui semble délicieux.
